The GeoTHERM Proceedings contain the extended abstracts of all presentations that were submitted to the GeoTHERM Congress and reviewed by the GeoTHERM Editorial Board. Presentations that have been accepted following a defined peer-review process may be delivered at the GeoTHERM Congress. In this case, the extended abstract is included in the GeoTHERM Proceedings and published.

GeoTHERM - expo & congress - CALL FOR PAPERS

The GeoTHERM - expo & congress is an annual trade fair with accompanying scientific congress, which takes up the current developments of the industry and creates an international platform, which dedicates itself to the possibilities, chances and risks of the use of geothermal energy in a technical and neutral way. This gives exhibitors, speakers and visitors alike the opportunity to find out about the latest developments and to exchange ideas in a global dialog. The focus of GeoTHERM 2027 will be on sector coupling, as well as on the interfaces and synergies between geothermal energy and the oil & gas, mining, and subsurface utilization sectors.

The next GeoTHERM will take place on February 25 + 26, 2027 in Offenburg, Germany. Further information on the event at: www.geotherm-germany.com

The scientific advisory board of the GeoTHERM expo & congress will select the contributions submitted to the call for papers and will inform the authors about the result of the review in a double blind procedure. After acceptance of the contribution and successful presentation during GeoTHERM 2027 (February 25 + 26, 2027 in Offenburg, Germany), a detailed article can be published in the GeoTHERM Journal.

GeoTHERM Journal is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the publication of scientific findings and practical examples of geothermal energy exploration and utilization. All articles are based on papers presented at the GeoTHERM - expo & congress conferences on near-surface geothermal energy or deep geothermal energy.
